HeslyBarrier can give quick response to threats from flood or arms ... ...
Hesly Military Defensive Barrier Units (HMIL units) are originally used to control flood and erosion of beaches and marshes. Recently, it has been frequently applied to military purposes. Quick installation and rigid structure ensures temporary or semi-permanent dike or barrier against explosions or small arms.
The HMIL unit is a multi-cellular barrier system manufactured from welded zinc-aluminum coated steel wire mesh and joined with vertical, helical-coil joints. The units are lined with a heavy-duty non-woven polypropylene geotextile. When joined and filled, the system can be used to create barriers of exceptional strength and structural integrity.
All HMIL products are pre-assembled and delivered palletised with joining pins, to enable the connection of individual units, which can then be filled with available material using minimal manpower and commonly available equipment. Protection is afforded by the fill material of the structure as a consequence of its mass and physical properties, allied with the proven dynamic properties of HMIL Defensive units.
Advantages of Hesly Defensive barrier
Unlike common welded gabion, hesly defensive barrier can be filled with soil, sand or gravel. This means raw material are very easy to get, especially suitable for the coastal area where is abundant in sand. Usually, front end loader is employed to fill the container.
Hesly barrier structure
Similar to beehive, Hesly Defensive barriers is comprised of external welded gabion and interior fabric liner. Its content includes soil, sand or little stone. The line would be yellow, grass green or other colors which blends well with the surroundings.
